Brazil is big producer of quality shoes. This information can come as a surprise to lots of people, but for me as a born Brazilian citizen it did not surprise me as much.

Havaianas is company in Brazil that manufactures flip flops and sandals that are a big success in the United States and in 80 other countries worldwide.
I am a Fashion Merchandising student at Cal State LA. I love shoes. For this reason I decided to open this blog about shoes. Since I moved to United States, it took me some time to figure out where to buy good and affordable shoes. After a while, I found some good quality shoes in several well known stores such as Aldo, Steve Madden, and Carlos Santana. These companies are well known for selling well-designed, comfortable, durable, and affordably priced shoes. And you can also find some Brazilian shoes there. This is what makes me very excited about these stores. On this blog people can find some samples of Brazilian shoes that I bought in the United States and in Brazil. This blog works as a source of recognition for fashion-minded people to recognize Brazilian shoes when they see them.
