A little about Brazillian shoes

I grew up seeing my mother buying shoes that were made in Brazil and I was very happy with the quality of them. They usually last long, have a different design aesthetic, and have affordable prices. When I was a kid most of the shoes that were sold in Brazil were manufactured in the country, but this has been changing a lot since then. The price of the materials and the work force salaries have been getting costly. Today, Brazil is importing shoes from China. Most of the Brazilian shoe manufacturer’s production are being exported to other countries. Shoes from Brazil are known to be comfortable, durable, and made with real leather. What comes as a surprise factor for me is that lots of quality shoes that we buy here in the United States are imported from Brazil. In the south of Brazil there is a big industrial center of shoe production.
